Would just like to pass on this problem that i had whilst towing my caravan the other day,
I was driving along happily ,when we came to a hill,the engine would seem to lose its revs,into third,into second,and then it stalled..bonnet up nothing to see there,,then the wife said that when she last filled it up, the filler cap was hard to get off,yes this was the problem,the breather hole was blocked,so i took the cap off and continued with the journey no probs???
but why is it that this did not seem to cause a problem when not towing??/any comments gratefully recived
