My fourtrak wont start the solenoid makes the right noises but the starter doesnt turn how do I check if the problem lies with starter motor???????????

If the starter motor is broke
If the starter motor is broken is there a way I can start my vehicle???????

I believe bump-starting a diesel is impossible. Perhaps others can advise?
Bump Starting.
Not impossible just needs a bit more effort, try using 3rd gear, make sure you allow heater plugs to warm up as normal, then get the vehicle rolling well before you let the clutch up, shouldn't be a problem.
push start
Roll start using second gear (high range) - I've had a dicky starter on my diesel Rocky for 20 years and 500,000 kms so this is not unusual.
Check the bolts on the starter are tight. Mine have come loose several times and I use longer bolts with lock nuts.
If unable to roll start ie try turning the motor by hand using the fan blade to position the ring gear in a slightly different position.
