Hi there this might seem a bit of a stupid question but how do you get the bulb out of the headlamp 
I have lost the bulb on the nearside dipped headlamp and I can'r work out how the holder / harness comes off. I did not want to force it so any ideas guys

You've got to take the front black grille off, and if you've got a close fitting bull bar, that's got to come off as well. Once these are off, the headlamp assembly is on 3 sprung screws, you should be able to push in and twist, and the whole thing comes out. Good Luck

Dont be daft Snappo..you dont have to remove the whole headlight assembly to change a fecking bulb...:)
At the back of the headlight there should be a rubber grommet/cover type of of thing..there should also be a 3 pinned connector that plugs on to the back of the bulb. Pull this connector off the back of the bulb. Then remove the rubber grommet by pulling it off...this should reveal a circular metal clip arrangement which holds the bulb in situ. I think you twist this to release the bulb. Replace the bulb with an H4 bulb..reconnect everything back up and you will 'see the light again'
p.s. the three sprung screws are for setting up the headlight aim.

Thanks for that. I replaced both headlights with HID look alikes and it's now 100% better and the cool whit light really sets the Sportrak off.
