Hi, the van has been sitting for a long time maybe a year, anyway managed to get it started with a replacement battery but only on LPG.
the petrol was practically empty so a used a can to put 5 litres init but no joy.
the engine and starter turn fine but doesn't fire.
the spark plugs I imagine are fine because they work with thw lpg?
I have looked for links but can't figure out where to start.
the petrol tank is pretty rusty on the outside. but never bothered me as I always ran it on the lpg. but have to sell it and want it all working for the new owner.
plus have to get it through it MOT anyway.

is this a fuel injected engine or carb? what type of lpg system? single point or multi point sequential?. whatever the problem IS on the fuel side not ignition or it would not run at all. if you can start it on lpg then i guess that its carb so you need to look at fuel pump/delivery and then the carb itself. i think it can be tested on lpg check with your local test station.

It's a HIJET 1.3 16V EFI LPG 4X4.
and as my luck would have it I now have a leak at the front of water. not sure if radiator is done or seal somewhere, more fun and games.
do you happen to know if a radiator from a 1995 1.0 would fit a 2003 1.3? as i have a spare 1995 van for parts.
two Hijets 1995 998 petrol & 2003 LPG petrol 4x4 efi.
