Buying a Fourtrak

Forum:

I presently own a Sportrak which I'm thinking of trading in for a Fourtrak next year, which I intend to keep for a number of years. My only concern is that because both the Sportrak and Fourtrak have ceased production
the availability of spares will become increasingly poor and eventually non existent which would render the car virtually valueless when I come to trade it in. What do people think?

Is it time this group organised spares support ?

Some might think it premature and I wasn't going to get pompous, but since someone else has mentioned it, I think we need to start buying up spares, as a group, to keep these rather good vehicles going long after the manufacturers have tried to kill them off by withdrawing spares support.

For example, the Norton Owners Club (ancient british motorcycle for those who don't know) bought up a huge quantity of spares to keep these bikes on the road. Shouldn't we be doing the same thing?
