Hi everyone, I've just come back into the Daihatsu fold (had a black YRV Turbo 130 and a Sirion 1.0SE in the past) and bought a Sirion 1.3SL. I have a double din radio from my last car to fit in. I managed to get the fascia off today but there doesn't appear to be any easy to fit the radio. Has anyone else tried to do this in the past? Thanks Steve

i couldnt find any factory brackets from anywhere, but it wouldnt be to hard to "make" some from universal brackets from a hardware store, i happened to have a cage for my double din, good luck

I ended up buying a new
I ended up buying a new single DIN unit for the car. The cage on the double DIN one I had was larger than the standard ones and I didn't fancy hacking the fascia about just to get it to fit in. Especially as I will put the original radio back in when the time comes to sell it.

I know it would be in a different place, but isn't the lower console near gearstick designed for double DIN?
You could fit it down there and then a simple single DIN storage tray for the original position, handy for storing things.
