I have just bought a Terios EL (2001 model) and would like to know if anyone has found better tyres than the original fitted ones(Bridgestone 205/R70), these seem good quiet tyres but with only 18000miles the front seems a bit worn, any suggestions would be welcome. I am very pleased with the Terios, and would like to hear of any other owners experiences

Tyre Wear!
2003 Sirion SL 1300. And I love it.
Don't like the new shape much.
The previous owner may have been a bit heavy on the old gas pedal!
That will soon scrub a bit off quicker.
The heavier the foot the more tyres you will need on the front.
All other suggestions as to tyres to use seem good to me too.
I still have the original Front pads on my Sirion and Iv'e done 68,000 miles and there's still plenty on them.
It's how you drive that will make the difference.
Sorry don't want to tell you how to suck eggs, but I'm sure you know what I mean.
Cheers, BobF

Dunlops...
Hi Yaffy,
I recently bought my 2003 Terios DX. Here in Sydney the car comes factory fitted with Dunlop GrandTrek TG 32's as standard. The car was hardly used by the previous owner and still had the original tyres on it. I found these tyres great and have taken the car on a few light dirt roads. No probs. Not alot of noise either. Grip seems good in the wet too. I reckon I'll stick with them for now.
Hope this helps ya.
RE: New Tyres for Terios
Hi Yaffy,
Do we know eachother?
You posted on TeriosGroup before no? (any particular reason for not coming back?)...
I recommend Bridgestone A/Ts in the original size... all the way! (not the standard 205/70R15 H/Ts!)
Don't know if you'll find many Terios owners to help you here though
Also, your fronts being worn could be an indication that you need a wheel/steering alignment! And rotate your tyres 2 or 3 times a year too so they all wear evenly. Normally it's more of a wheel alignment issue, or driving style rather than tyre problems.
Cheers,
Luis
