I own a 1998 Fourtrak TDX, I've had an overheating problem when towing a caravan. I've changed the radiator, the thermostat and fitted a kenlowe fan.
Upon contacting the Daihatsu Uk unit I was advised to buy a heavier duty radiator, commonly known as Australian type. I would appreciate if anybody has bought this radiator to give me some feedback on whether this cured any similar overheating problem.The Jeep runs fine when solo and I'm at a loss to the reason why it only happens when towing. Please Help. Thank you.

Your not the only one mate, Mine over heats also. I tow approx 1400 KG. Its OK on a normal day but I found recently during the hot weather it over heated. I had to turn on the heater to cool it down.
Ive had my 4T since last September and towed a few times without any problems so it might just be the hotter weather.
Its strange that you still have problems after your efforts.
I havent tried anything yet.
