My fourtrak overrevs when you put your foot down.
I know the reason may be the clutch slipping but the guy I purchased it off says he put a new clutch on. What else could it be?

Might be worth checking the cable adjustment. Mine did the same a few months ago. Oh s**t, thought I, new clutch needed. Adjusted cable and all OK (even stalls the engine in 1st gear).
That's the "kiss of death" then for this weekend's trip
