I have found that wires that look like they should be connected to something have all been cut and messed with around the gearbox area and Ive got no idea which ones are meant to fit together has anyone got a decent wiring diagram. Also have been told that the brake vacumn line is not connected up. where should it be connected to, the mechanic has put a bolt init for the time being. Can anyone help

Hi If it is a deisel engine then the pipe should be connected to the pump on the back of the alternator if no pump it sounds like someone has fitted ordenary alternator to save money but dangerous as brakes will not work as should

Ive got the pipe that come off the back of the alternator but where does it go?

From the alternator, a flexib
From the alternator, a flexible rubber hose joins the fitting on the alternator to a metal hose near the windscreen washer bottle. This metal hose is clamped to the firewall/balkhead and runs across toward the brake booster, where another flexible rubber hose actually joins to the booster itself.
