when removing the gear stick covers from my fourtrak i have found two wires underneath connected to the gear box and they are not connected together. what are they for and do i need to reconnect them.
I would like to apologise for all the questions I have posted but this is my first fourtrak and i need guidance!

What model and what age?
I have a master alarm fitment manual (Laserline) so give me the info and i can post the wire colours / locations for connections.
I think on the 4trac, if u have cdl you will need to put a motor in the door to get it to work off of the remote.
Other than the cdl its easy to fit.

The wire and plug closest to the front of the gearbox is the reversing light switch wire...this needs to be connected so that when you select reverse gear the reversing light will illuminate. Try selecting reverse gear at the moment and ask a friend to check whether the white reversing light comes on..bet you it dont
The other one is the transmission position switch wire.
