oils and servicing
Just make sure it is made for diesel motors. I use valvoline JTEC
formulated fore small Japanese Diesel motors. While you are doing your service do not forget to check the oil level in the transfer case as it has the Toyota habit of draining into the gear box and as it does not leak onto the ground the first you will know is a stuffed transfer.
Engine oil
I use Shell's 15W40 Diesel Engine oil and it works fine for me under harsh tropical conditions.
Esso engine oils are also very good and have a longer milage life.
