when you accelerate the turbo seems to go alot faster than the engine acceleration (revs go really high), you then have to take your foot off the accelerater and wait for the turbo to return to normal and then accelerate slowly for the turbo to properly work .
Does this make sense as its hard to put into words.

Hmmm...something not right there matey....I can't even hear my turbo at all when it kicks in at 2300 revs...
Are you sure you have a problem with the turbo
Is it just the engine thats revving hard...if so it may be a problem with the fuel injector pump..or a timing problem..actually they are both related problems..

have you cheked the clutch isint slipping as that will lead to the revs incresing
