can any one help me
I'm in the middle of fitting a 2.5 DG series diezel into a landrover anyway I ve run into a few snags
firstly I need a copy of the wiring diagram to checkthe wiring from the alternator to the regulator box and also to see what colours the wires are for the oil and water srnder units are.
Mind you I also have A feeling that I might need a new alternator after undoing the nut that holds the wires on and dropping it inside Imanaged to get it apart and put the bolt backin place but cant tell yet if I have broken anything inside it till its wired up and runnin
secondly whats the correct way of bleeding the fuel system or is it self bleeding ??
and one other thing does the DG have a timing belt or is it a chain or even gears???

I don't have a wiring diogram, but I do have an engine in a car you can come look at if your around my area (Dover, Kent). I'll e-mail you my number on this sites internal mail.

To bleed the rocky you pump the filter using the hand pump until fuel comes out the bleed screw on top of the filter. The loosen an injector pipe ie No 1 and turn motor over until air is removed.
The DG should have timing gears.
