IF and IF it is like the Sparkrite one on my missus's old Polo, then it immobilised thru the starter - so look for the thick wires to the alarm control box.
Depending on what type it can be 1,2, or 3 circuit. Most are 2
Normally you will have ign, pos and earth wires, a lot will have two pos and two earth.
If you are having problems with it and you see a fuse in line with the pos then pull the fuse out and try to start the car. Early immobilisers were protected by the fuse and if you just pulled the fuse out they didnt immobilise the vehicle.
Normally :-
two wires will go to the starter wire on the ign barrel and two will go to eather the coil or fuel pump.
Its a case of tracing all the wires, seeing where they join and connecting them back up.
