Just joined as ive found this site very valuable for engine advice.
Ive a 77 rangerover with a milner 2.8 daihatsu non turbo diesel engine conversion.
Ive just changed the head gasket and now need to set my valve gaps. Got a fair wobble on idle going on.
I was wondering if anyone knows what rockers do what? (front; EXH INL INL EXH ;back, that sort of thing) What are the gaps (preferably cold settings but hot if cold not available) Ive only a set of mm feelers. And whats the firing order of this engine is and the order that the gaps can be set. Its all a bit of a mystery to me but fancy getting it right, before i burn or wear things out.
