soft brakes

Hi not saying you have but just incase have you made sure the rear brakes are adjusted properly as this give a lot of pedal travel if not

S,

Had the same problem a while back.
Find the adjuster an the back brakes (both) and thighten them up like your always braking but you not.

This will give you the right pedal distance and breaking balance.

The thing is why did you bleed them first of all there is no need if you just changing shoes or pads but anyway if you've changed the rear shoes they wont be at there best till there bedded in ie the high spots will wear off after a while, and just like your shoes they will fit nicely then re-adjust and all should be ok.
If you still think there soft bleed them with a pressure bleeder like easy bleed that should remove any air.
