Service & Parts for Sportrak

Hi all
I am new to here and new to owning a 4x4. I moved to the sticks in Essex a couple of years ago and realised that about a month a year I will need a 4x4 or I will starve or parking in a ditch (Snow problems). So as our 2 weeks of summer is now over I have purchased a 1996 Sportrak in great condition with 51K on the clock.

I am picking it up on Saturday and want to change the timing belt, Oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, sparks and oil straight away. Does anybody have any other recommendations what I should do.

Also I was going to buy the bits from http://www.japanese4x4spares.co.uk/daih-sport.html has anybody used them before? Are their parts good? Is there a better place?

In addition i would fully grease everything underneath, steam clean the underside and underseal it. Treat the insides of any chassis sections with old engine oil or proprietry product such as Waxoyl

Check all the fuel and brake lines and replace any which are suspect with copper.

Give it a good wash, plenty of polish and just run it.

Local motor shop.

Go to your local motor shop on the high street. Any reputable motor shop will order the bits and save you the internet postal costs. Avoid Daihatsu garage spares because most will source parts from the same places used by you local motor shops!
Cam belts/filters/exhausts are all easily ordered.
