Hello Forum,
I need some instructions on how to perform a modification from Auto Hubs to Manual Hubs on a 1998 F73 Fourtrak.
I bought a set of used Manual Hubs to replace my Auto Hubs but I am still confused about what to do with the Nuts, Spacers and Snap Ring I need to make the modification.
I have read a couple posts about it, but I haven't found instructions on where to put these exactly. How many I need? (How many nuts, how many spacers and how many snap rings). What size and type should they be? (I read something like 52mm nuts?) Where exactly to fit them?
Basically, a "Auto to Manual Modification for Dummies".... hehehe.
I would really like to get it done. Just recently I bought the hubs, cleaned them, greased them, checked that they worked, but the nuts, spacers and snap rings issue got me puzzled.
Anybody?
