Any of you kind folk out there ever removed the backdoor of a Fourtrack...I am seriously thinking of replacing my elderly track (which has done me proud)with a newer model...one of the faults the potential replacement has is a broken upper back door hinge.
At first I thought it was simply a broken pin..but on closer investigation and a quick look at the manual there does not appear to be a pin going through the hinge. It a 2 part arrangement so it looks as if the whole hinge will have to be replaced. Anything to watch out for
I've had the front door off but not the back.

Its relatively easy, pull the right rear taillight assembly, to reveal the wiring loom connector. Pull this out with the large rubber grommet. Disconnect the door swing guide/limiter, then undo the 6 bolts that attach the hinges to the bodywork in the door jamb, after marking the correct position of the hinges with a pencil.
