Yesterday when I delivered my daihadsu to his new home - my home I was verry happy loads of rust but I had told by seler endine is ok and will pull a house. Yesterday was rainy so I havent seen anything behind me, but today cloud of f***in smoke from exhaust and bang. Well I just wait few minutes will be ok, but no I drove 40 miles to work and I left 40 miles of smoke behind me. On the way back same thing. I came back home called my neighbour, he knows something about engines and he said - Oh man just scrap it.
The oil is around the engine where the head gasket is but it does not take any water, does not overheat or something.
Please help any ideas - I love my trak.

I presume its a diesel? Has the truck been stood up for a while? How long ago has it been since it went through an MOT test? The simplest explanation is probably due to some shitty old diesel or blocked filters and injectors.
I`d take out the diesel filter, oil filter, air filter and dump the oil firstly, then renew all filters and top up with good clean oil then when putting back the diesel filter fill it up with neat injector cleaner and start her up and give it some good revs to draw through the cleaner it should force out the crap in the system and it should blow fairly good after this. Also if your a bit suspect about the diesel drop out the tank, empty it and give a good swill out with clean stuff( a drop or petrol in it wont do it any harm) BEFORE you do the other stuff!

Sorry it's petrol, I tryed petrol injector cleaner anyway and that just boost the smoke!
