Hi folks,
Anyone out there know of anythink that will bring me corner bumpers back to a nice black again I've tried back to black looks nice for a while but then fades out again, can these be respayed I think there some sort of plastic any ideas.

BUMPERS
The end caps of a sporty are made of plastic.
If they have gone grey there isnt much you can do on a perminant basis.
Cheapest method is back 2 black or boot polish.
Yes they can be painted, but you have to use a special primer first, and if you are going to paint them, do the whole bumper as it will blend better.

Bumper end caps
Hi,
Whoever had my sportrak before me painted the end caps, they looked ok when i bought it a year ago, but in this last year bits have flaked off and they look horrible now. I was thinking of finding new ones and replacing them (they're scuffed aswell), but no doubt they cost a lot!

They have flaked because they were not clean enough. best advice i can give is as you say get another pair or:-
Use 320 grit wet n dry (wet) and go over all of the caps. Get a tin of prep fluid from halfraus (think they call it bumper prep) and go ever all of the cap and dry. get some plastic primer and spray them followed by satin black paint.
