My Fourtrak's fuel door is stuck shut, and any attempt to turn the key just feels like the key is going to break and the lock is going nowhere.
I have tried squirting WD40 into the lock, with no success, and I'm scared of breaking the key. Is there anything else I can do?
I'm a bit girly with cars, but can follow simple instructions
Thanks

Hi and welcome
Hi.
The fuel filler access flap lock is a tuppenyhaporth item, if after trying to release and no luck, stick a screw driver in the key entry and force it round. A similar locking mechanism should be available ( as fitted to many clothing lockers) at the larger DIY stores. The one I purchased just required swapping the locking bar for the original one.

Thankyou
Got in with a screwdriver - it looks like the spring-loading on the catch is broken - but at least I can fill the thing up now! Thanks for taking the time to help out
