Can I get a rough idea who would be interested in a Meet for all Daihatsu models near Stratford-upon-Avon at the end of May .
Good access M42 /M5 /M40.
Am trying to get a club pitch at the Ragley Classic Car and Transport Event and if there are sufficient positive feeds from enough of you I will go ahead.
Apart from being set in spectacular Stately Home grounds there is a great range of Vintage /Veteran/American/Sports Cars on show and am hoping they will allow the Daihatsu Drivers Club access.
So folks let me know.

RAGLEY HALL - BANK HOL. MONDAY 31 MAY- ALL DAI MEET
Sorry I've not been able to add anything positive since my initial post as I've not been too well.
However I shall be there (unless weather bad) on the Bank Holiday Monday,and it would be nice to meet other Dai owners - so will look forward to that if anyone else interested - Its a very enjoyable day out anyway, whether anyone else turns up or not!!

SPRING MEET
Hi everyone,
Still trying to sort out a Club pitch.
Dates are 30/31 May at Ragley Hall near Alcester -look it up on their website.
I have suggested if we can't have an official pitch then perhaps we can organise an unofficial one in the public parking area which in any event is adjacent to the main arena and is very obvious as soon as you get through the main Hall Gates.
Anyway I've chased again and will let you know asap.

SPRING MEET 31 MAY- GO AHEAD -ALL MODELS -RAGLEY HALL
Hi everyone.
In view of the complications of identifying and paying for an unknown quantity of members and their make and reg. numbers etc etc etc,the best course of action is to make this an INFORMAL MEET within the RAGLEY show.
Usually there is enough parking space (ie a big (smooth) field) to make some of that our own.
I will be there on the Sunday 31 May and will be early enough to position my Rally2 in an obvious position.
There is then no pressure on anyone to turn up or not which I think is preferable anyway.
As a reference point my mobile no.is 07768927020.
Should be a great day out .There are many great veteran/vintage cars on display as well as various trade stands,and usually some display (possibly bike formation teams?). There is also the ability to look round the gardens (where there is a kiddies play and exploration area),and also I think part of the house.-Check on website.
Will send reminder nearer the date.
Hope to see many of you there.

sounds good to me - I would be coming in my Terios SUV (Slow Underpowered Vehicle!) from Aldershot.
