Hi there,
Can anybody help me?
I've just bought a YRV 1.0ltr (989cc) 2001 on a Y reg
After driving it for a week the clutch has started slipping.
I've spoken to my friendly parts supplier who lists every model except the 1.0ltr version.
Does anybody know if this engine was fitted to any other model, or any other car as I've been told daihatsu supply engines to toyota.
I would be very grateful for any imput on this subject.

Clutch
Hi There.
I have the same car just on an 03 plate, and parts are a nightmare to source yourself
, but i found that the only company localy to be able to get parts in good time was Farmer Autocare, I don't know if a clutch will be as easy to get as oher parts, (I'll find out tomorrow, having same problem), if you can find a Farmers locally I'd recomend them for service as well as finding any parts in good time at a good price.........

Not sure if this part is the same one found on a Toyota Yaris 1.0 litre as some parts are common to both cars.
I take it your local Daihatsu dealership/parts department couldn't help?
