T'other night, my little £300 Ebay Corsa was nicked off the drive.
However, between being found with damage to the doors and ignition etc, it's picked up a speeding ticket about 2 hrs before I noticed it nicked and reported it stolen. I've since rung the law and got them to add this info to the crime report, and I know this won't be the first time this has happened but has anyone been in this postion before, or knows of someone who has and can advise?

i would say as long as you can prove that you were not in charge or driving the vehicle at the time you should be ok, however i would take legal advice
