daihatsu hijet R 993 (!) warning light

Hi, can you please advise me what the red (!) warning light means. Comes on intermittently. It's a Hijet 993 1997/R.

warning light

Hi, I had this problem today. Looked in my Diahatsu drivers manual and found out that it is a brake warning light. As soon as I topped up the brake fluid the light went off. Still have to check that I am not losing fluid though. Will do at weekend.

Yep, that's correct. On some models it can also indicate that the front brake pads are wearing down.
